      Hi everyone,

here I have AQo and decide to call the minraise from MP. Since I didn't have a lot of hands from him and this was his first raise, I didn't want to overplay the hand by shoving. Both blinds are calling as well and MP makes a weird small Cbet. Since I have TPTK I decide to call again, and the BB stays in as well. The turn brings another 7 and everyone checks. The River brings a 9 and again BB and MP check to me. In retrospective I think I should have bet the river for value, since all hands that beat me, especially 7x, would have bet at least the river. Would you shove or bet ~600 on the river? Or do would you already bet the turn?

I think that shoving preflop it isn't a bad play to avoid a multiway pot and you have only 16bb. And after the flop i would raise, you have a good hand and don't want to play against two players.

      Cumps ;)

Against someone that’s raising for the first time calling only isn’t a bad move, but I would most likely shove as well. As played I would shove the flop for sure for value with top pair top kicker.
The turn I would shove for value when both players checking to you and the river is a shove for value for sure with only 12bb behind.

      Cheers,

I have to say that I really like my preflop call, but you are right that I should have pushed on the flop.

      Thanks for your replies :f_thumbsup:
