Ok, I'm mainly posting this hand because I'm new to NL 25 and I have to admit it felt pretty good winning a $20 pot :) Feel free to tell me off for limping (and then compounding the sin by calling a minraise) but please advise if my Turn play was alright. Also, if you've got this far, sorry for posting so many hands today but wanted to make sure I'm adapting to the new limit ok. Thanks as always.

P.S. Loving newly acquired Elephant for posting hands and providing cool-looking charts :)

      Spewy PF.

If you can't bring yourself to open-fold any PP then at least play it for a raise.

I usually do fold small PPs, and freely admit this was weak play. It's the Turn I'd like to know about. Cheers,

      Hello Tim64,

I totally agree with Nunki, you should master the Preflop play first because this avoids any postflop plays that could lose you money. If you really are fond of playing small PPs in EP/MP, play BSS

Limping MP/EP + SSS = just a waste of money.

Well Turnplay is standard? BetPot/Shove on a Raise

      Best regards,
      Gerv

Thanks Gerv and Nunki: the voices of reason :D

One last quesion then. You said that "Limping MP/EP + SSS = just a waste of money".

In that case, even though it is not 'recommended' in SSS, is it nevertheless permissable sometimes to limp with small PPs in LP ?

If so, do you need a minimum number of limpers in front to make it worthwhile?

      Thx
