Villain is an aggressive reg. 3b appears to be around 9%. I wanted to have some combos for 4betting excluding AA (which seems quite face up). Is this a reasonable choice?

      1. Given we have no immediate SDV should we be simply cbetting this combo? In game I feared getting x/r off my equity since I don't think we can continue vs a raise.
      2. As played, would you do anything differently?

Interesting hand again. Not sure I would 4bet bluff against an aggressive regular or he folds a lot on 4bets. If you just call you have a decent amount of equity and I don’t think you need to blow up the pot with a hand that can flop well.

Post-flop looks standard. It’s a little bit nasty the board is paired, but I don’t think I can ever fold this hand on the river after investing a decent amount on the turn with our draw.

Thanks. Did you notice we already have a straight on the turn?

Would love some additional opinions about this hand - thanks.

With 4bet you create SPR 2,5. So I wouldn't be too worried that your 4bet range is AAxx heavy as you can't make a lot of mistakes on the flop (unless you start to fold a lot). Against aggros I would call the 3bet as you have position. With 4bet you give away the positional advantage and it becomes more range vs range battle. As he 3bets from BB (instead of seeing the flop for discounted price) his range should be decently strong. Which means that you will be dominated more than you dominate him with that hand.

As played, postflop is quite fine, although the river sucks a bit.
