I was unsure where to go preflop with this. It looks like he has KK+, AK to me which essentially mean I am behind. I thought a fold might be too weak so I called essentially for set value (maybe would've gone in with over pair too)

On the flop I am pretty happy getting my chips in, if he has KK well then that was just unlucky but AA and AK will both play here too.

I think your line is fine.
It is hard also fold QQ there (especially against aggressive player who had read to 4-bet is better oop with TT-AA, AK, somtiems with bluff)
Shove is likely fine, but I think I´d just call.
Although he would likely b/c there with AA, AK I want that he´d shove turn for example complete bluff and there can´t be too many scare cards for him that he should c/f AK or AA on the turn.
