      I am totally curious here as to how often you guys find your self with monster monster hands?

      Like Str8 Flushes and Royals and of course QUADS!!

      I dont count sets as they are pretty common all around...

      Lately it just feels like I am a QUAD magnet.

      I have played 943 SNGs and I have hit Quads 37 times. That seems small over almost 1k games.

      But in Feb alone, and once yesterday I have landed quads 14 times and I have only
      played for 18 days out of this time period..

      Is this average? or am I lucky?

      What kind of numbers are you guys getting on these hands?

      Until you dont get sth. like this is nice to get them :D

      That was second time my quads were beaten first was on A66 flop and turn A and river A :D

      usually I'm on the other side, still pushing into monsters, at least last few days. And last five quads I folded preflop due to previous action :(

      Best hand ive seen in 10,645 is 9s over Jacks house.

      edit - actually, its Js over 8s house. I forgot that hand because I had only the single J in the pocket

      Last week I played 4 tables, and landed quads on 2 tables at the same time.

      That was sick.

      I think i've only had 2 over like 100 k hands cash game hands, and 400 sng's. One royal flush, and one straight flush lol.

      You're just a beast :D

      I'm not that much of a quad magnet. Straight flushes however.. :D
      My standard line with the open ended straight flush draw is of course to stick it all in if I get raised, usually that generates alot of fold equity but on Pacific I most often end up only having call equity. I've hit 4 straight flushes during the last week. Funny thing is I got one for every suit.

      nr 1:
      Hero is BB w 7:club: 5:club:
      Everyone limps, button raise, SB calls, I call, everyone call, big family pot.

      Flop A:spade: 6:club: 4:club:
      I check some donk minbet, PFR raise big, I shove, tons of callers.

      Turn K:club:

      River 3:club:

      nr 2:
      Hero is BU w J:heart: 9:heart:
      Tons of limpers, I limp along

      Flop: Q:heart: T:heart: 2:club:
      SB openshove 10$ into 0.5$ pot, BB calls, folds to me and I call.

      Turn: A:diamond:

      River: 8:heart:

      nr 3:
      Hero is BU w A:diamond: 3:diamond:
      Limpfest, I limp along

      Best flop in the world: 2:diamond: 4:diamond: 5:diamond:
      Everyone check, I check

      Turn: 4:heart:
      SB overbets, folds to me, I call

      River: 8:spade:
      SB Overbet-donk-shoves all in for over 300bb into a rather small pot, I call

      Donk show full house, I win

      nr 4:
      Hero is CO w K:spade: J:spade:
      folds to me in the CO (what, no limpers?)
      I raise, Bu folds, SB folds, BB calls

      Flop: Q:spade: T:spade: X (blank)

      BB check, I bet, he minraise, I shove he calls with top two QT

      Turn: Blank

      River: A:spade:

      Best feeling ever, hitting the royal on the river :)

      Nice man and also you won big pots with those hands. I wish i would get so lucky. I get quite a lot of quads(most of them are flopped) which dont give me much money /

      Ye I've seen that happen with my quads as well. I guess the only thing to do with quads is slowplay them. If you have QQ and the board comes QQ2, don't expect anyone to be calling a bet on that board without 22, I'd just let some more cards fall off and hope someone else catches a monster. Thing about straight flushes is that you usually only flop the draw, which is when all the money goes in or your opponents fold (which you don't mind either).

      12 times quads and 2 times straight flushes in 19k hands. Cash games only. In tournaments I've had quads 7 times out of 6k hands. 5 of 12 times I folded quads pre-flop in cash games and 3 of 7 times in tournaments. Folded one of both straight flushes pre flop.

      Chance of getting dealt one or more royal flushes

      - in 20k hands is 46%;
      - in 40k hands is 71%;
      - in 60k hands is 85%;
      - in 80k hands is 92%;
      - in 100k hands is 96%;
      - in 200k hands is 99.8%.

      So im at the 71st percentile of failing at getting a Royal (40k hands) :)

      Best to date is a single flopped straight flush, 87 in the hole to a 9TJ board.

      I have seen quad bullets as well.

      Saw the board play KKKKA the other night. One guy bet and the other guy abused him for pushing the rake up, it was funny. I have to say I would overbet such a board as well on micro though and see if the opponent was stupid enough to fold out :)

      I've hit quads a fair few times. Got paid out huge with them once too.

      Known players:

      0.1/0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
      Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.67 by

      Preflop: Hero is UTG2 with 6:diamond: , 6:spade:
      UTG1 folds, Hero calls $0.25, MP1 raises to $5.60 (All-In), 3 folds, BU calls $5.60, 2 folds, Hero calls $5.35.

      Flop: ($17.15) 6:heart: , T:diamond: , 5:club: (2 players)
      Hero bets $20.90 (All-In), BU calls $20.90.

      Turn: ($58.95) J:spade:
      River: ($58.95) 6:club: (3 players)

      Final Pot: $58.95

      Results follow (highlight to see):
      Hero shows four of a kind, sixes (6d 6s)
      MP1 shows two pairs, nines and sixes (9h 9d)
      BU shows two pairs, eights and sixes (8s 8c)

      Hero wins with four of a kind, sixes (6d 6s)

      I know that calling a $5 bet all in shouldn't have been done with pocket 6's, but the guy was obviously on tilt after losing $20 the hand before.
