A disconnected flop with a 9 is perfect for AAxx. Players shouldnt have any 9xxx or wraps, so betting flop is best.

As played, you are mostly live OTT but i guess folding is fine too...

Turn makes it just PLOhi, and in that game if you check the flop you never fold the turn.

Hey kyyb, my thoughts exactly at first... but 5xxx is waaay more often in the range of hands for PLO8 than PLO. I guess we can call but we should be prepared to fold on :2s: or :4s: river

He might have 5, but the sizing is a bit weird unless he has a boat, which means he had 2pairs+ on the flop and he would have bet it quite often.

When hero checks twice, that AA is the top of his range. BTN checked the flop, so he probably doesn't have much. That is a spot where CO might stab easily. Any info on the opponent would be nice here. If hero folds here, it would mean that he folds almost his whole range and opponent can easily run him over when he is capped. I would call, and often the river goes checked unless opponent has a better hand as a straight or flush gets there.
