This hand I really don't know...
At 5NL sometimes 3 betting goes ballistic and I had the feeling we were squeezed so I wanted to defend.
@Ia55i Yes... I know... :) too small of sample size, 4 out of 25

      SB: 100.6 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 16.67, 3Bet Preflop: 16.00, Hands: 62)
      BB: 100 BB (VPIP: 17.82, PFR: 15.84, 3Bet Preflop: 6.06, Hands: 312)
      UTG: 113 BB (VPIP: 45.00, PFR: 40.00, 3Bet Preflop: 22.22, Hands: 21)
      MP: 123.8 BB (VPIP: 24.62, PFR: 12.31, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 66)
      Hero (CO): 101.4 BB
      BTN: 100 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 2)

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has A:club: T:club:

fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BTN calls 3 BB, SB raises to 13 BB, fold, Hero calls 10 BB, fold

      Flop: (30 BB, 2 players) J:club: A:spade: K:spade:
SB checks, Hero bets 15 BB, SB calls 15 BB
Now when he checks I just have to bet with my hand I think (risk of being check raised is huge) and he calls?

      Turn: (60 BB, 2 players) 8:diamond:
SB checks, Hero bets 30 BB
My thoughts here: Who on earth would check/call the flop, check the turn with that board with a hand that beats me?

      So I bet again...

      Any thoughts? ( besides folding preflop ... yes I know but I didn't )

Damn.. Too small sample sizes is my favorite topic and now I can't start talking about it :( But no problem, I'll do that in my next video :f_biggrin:

I actually think that calling pre is just fine. I assume SB could be squeezing here a lot and ATs seems ok. I think we could even 4bet sometimes.
OTF villain can think that this board hit our range well, he might be careful. He also should have quite some draws and pair+draw kind of hands. Weaker Ax hands could check call also.

I think I would bet the flop and turn a bit smaller and plan to check behind OTT. Maybe sometimes mix in some checks OTF or OTT too. But overall this hand looks quite ok to me.

Like la55i said i dont think you should think that you have to fold preflop.
You have a top pair + a draw i think you have to try to get the pot when he check the flop.

Yep, betting flop and turn for value, but dont bet too much because you dont get call by worse and checking river off course
