      Hi,

Can I find a fold pre? Thought 99 was too strong, but playing it out of position is not easy, and don't think it's strong enough to shove (or is it?)
Once the flop gets checked through and turn pairs the board, is it ok to try to get value from smaller pairs, or is it too optimistic?
Once I'm called on the turn, is there any line other than check/fold on the river?

This is in the money, ICM is not a big concern

      Thanks!

The villain looks tight and problem with calling that you will invest more than ¼ of your stack and for me this is a push/fold spot. Especially with the position disadvantage it will tough to continue most flops if he shows aggression. In this case I would fold, but it’s a close 1.

Betting the turn is somewhat close. I doubt you get action of worse and I would go for a cheap showdown and the river is a fold for me.

      Cheers,

Thanks. Yeah, JJ+ I would probably run with, 88- is a fairly easy fold, 99 and TT are in that awkward spot where you don't really like shoving, nor folding....

Also agree about the turn bet, maybe it was ok to call one small bet, but don't like betting myself

      Thanks!
