I am wondering if anyone calculated yet, what are the odds of hitting a bad beat jackpot at Party poker. I mean hitting a four of a kind 8888 or better hand and someone beats you.

I think they are way better then with lottery ticket.

Micro. But more hands you play across more tables = better odds.
Count in this and bigger rake too so if you ever hit BBJ after big chase it might be not so big.

The chances of hittin 4oak are about 1 in 4000 n the chances of hittin a str8 flush are about 1 in 6000 so i guess the chance of 4oak beat by str8 flush are 1 in 24000000 just guessing tho

Not sure of the actual mathematical chance of hitting, but I think my own chances are pretty good at the moment. I seem to specialising in this field of late, like a lot of members.

Hopefully it will pass soon :(

Some guy on poker strategy won it 2 times... he lost both times with Quads... thats how sick the bad beats are.. he lost to better quads and then the 2nd time lost to a straight flush. The first one was massive like 100k + and the second time was not too long after so the BBJ wasnt that high so it was like 20k or something.
