Because he called your raise I would put him on Ax but I think if you were playing a good player he would fold to a 2nd bet.

If you are playing a weak player the check is good because he would call any bet. All in all i think you played it right. The 2/3 pot bet was ok after the river. He should have folded with such a weak kicker.

personally I would check/fold postfold post flop. Your M is like 50. There is no need to contbet when it is fairly likly he has a ace.

Well with the 2nd 10 coming he could easily fold thinking trips or a better kicker. He was a fish for calling that bet is usually good there.

edit: the check/fold is the safe way though I don't like giving chips away when i know my opponent has a weak hand this is why i would bet 2/3s there also. My play style I would throw out a 2nd bet and scare him away or then check/fold if he raised after the river.

Yea I guess I could've check/folded. I guess it might depend on whether the player is weak or strong and is capable of laying down the hand. Thanks

Considering that most players on the lower levels will never ever fold an ace here - no matter what kind of kicker they have I would simply check it down after he calls the continuation bet. Trying to get him off an ace is too expensive to make it worth your while considering how often he will call.

      Best regards

Don't know if it's an optimal move, but I'd bet 1/3 to 1/2 the pot in the turn instead of 2/3 after the river. Then, when called, check/fold.
