      I often donk/shove sets on drawy boards myself,to balance the draws.
      His line is fine, yours also.

      I think It's played fine by both players.

      With 66 if he fires the 3rd barrel you are often folding the KQ/KJ and you probably don't have AK so the way he maximises his value would be to go for the river c/r where flushes and straights would not check behind and would also be commited to calling the c/r.
