I actually timed out and was probably going to call because of the probability of his having a J, but a fold is surely better with against such a value bet..?

is this the short stack forum? if that is your strategy, then there are several things going wrong here making it difficult to judge.

1.why are you in SH table? unless there are some new rules i dont know, SSS can only be used profitable with 7+ players.
      2. you have more than 25BB ($12.5) so you shouldv left table earlier.

so now we're faced with really sticky situation.
      points to consider:
      1. on flop, accdg to SSS we have actually trash hand and should check fold esp vs 2 opponents and w/o reads.
      2. considering you made it to turn, SSS says if stack <half the pot, all-in would be acceptable.
      3. making it to river, hmm, only thing you can beat is draws that didnt complete and someone with J or 6. in which case, why in the world are they calling your flop bet?? altho his bet is really weak, i think fold is ok.

but like i said, i dont know if we can even apply any of the above since SSS conditions arent really met.

To tell you the truth I think there's a mistake in the hand because I never sat down at any 6 handed tables (I'm 99% sure of that - I know I'm supposed to be in a full ring game - very weird).
I did by mistake choose a pot limit game and post the blind without realising and then in my "free" cycle before I was going to leave I got a good hand and went up to over 25 blinds.
However when I got back to the big blind, I was a bit distracted and clicked on post big blind again instead of leaving the table. That's when I got the QQ, and thought I'd play it. Probably should have folded.

      Hi Wildbeans,

with 3+ players in a pot on Ace-high, chances are likely someone has an Ace so c/f it all the way without cbetting.

      only c-bet headsup ;)

      Best regards,
      Gerv
