So, I think my PokerStrategy ICM is malfunctioning, unless there is an explanation for this.

The following scenario says that SB's push range is only 7.7%. Given he has 19,450 chips compared with BB's 350, this is a little hard to believe.

      Any ideas?

      i dont think so...

your call is +Ev if he pushes more than 50% of hands... not 7,7%

Sorry guys, I'm a bit confused.

Are you both agreeing that the screen shot I posted makes no sense and that it suggests PS ICM is not working?

I'm not suggesting (to be clear) that I think ICM should say that it's correct to call with 9,4o in this position. Only that I don't understand why SB's push range is only 7.7%.

      Thanks,
      tim

if BB has lover calling range than 76% SB can push any 2 (100%)

if BB caling more than 76% SB can push 99,9% hands... if BB 78% SB 97% .. if BB 91% SB 84%?... BB 100% SB 76% etc etc ...

so this is when BB caling 99,5% (100%) hands... if he call tighter you can push wider this is just extreme when BB caling 100% SB could push 76% hands

I know you're trying to help, so thank you for your time. I'm not very advanced with ICM which is why your explanation is going over my head a bit. I think I just need a straight answer to this question:

Do you think it makes sense that ICM says BB's push range in this situation is only 7.7%?

so this is when BB caling 99,5% (100%) hands... if he call tighter you can push wider this is just extreme when BB caling 100% SB could push 76% hands

I understand that. But ICM says BB is calling with 26.1%, so I don't understand why SB only pushing with 7.7%

      Help me, please!?

The 7.7% is obviously an error in terms of the "opponent model".

      Hi guys,

I forwarded this thread to the development team and hope they will answer here soon.

I also see the SB pushing a lot looser than 7,7% here ;)

      Best regards
