      Preflop I wouldnt raise this without a read on mp3
      c-bet on flop is ok
      2nd barrel turn - if he has you beat you still have 9 clean outs
      river ok

      Well, 3-bet is not so bad with AJs in SH. Flop is definitelly a c-bet. But since it is 3-bet pot, you can bet just $1,40. After he calls you, you are out of the hand and try to check it down (as you did).

      First of all: Any stats?
      I ask because normally the stats determine wheither I 3bet or just call here preflop. Generally the "rule" is that you should 3bet only if you think villain is able to call your 3bet with worse (doesnt apply in resteals - they can be made for fold equity only). Otherwise you isolate yourself against stronger hands only and have a hard time postflop to find out wheither your kicker is good or not.

      So with that said, I think 3bet is fine preflop but calling is too. Postflop is good, but as Michailewic mentioned you can make your 3bet a little smaller.

      Don't 3bet smaller, you can bet on flop smaller. Your 3bet is OK.
