      G'Day mates :)

My name is Eviluka (Luka for short) and I've just hit the poker craze.

For a couple of months I've been playing Poker amongst friends and family for no real gain other than maybe the occasional 2 or 3 dollars.
I tried heading down to a casino with a hundred dollars and see how I'd go, and much to my displeasure, I got ripped to shreds. I don't even recall winning a pot.
Whilst I was there, I heard some of the other guys at the table talking about online poker and I thought I'd see what the fuss was about.

The next day (I had a day off work woohoo!) I typed online poker into google and saw what was available. I saw a couple of sites but didn't download the programs. Instead I searched up Poker Schooling and Poker Strategies, and much to my content this came up :) .

Now with this great coaching and gift, I'll hopefully be able to start up a successful online career.

I chose Pokerstars as it's the most advertised site in Australia and my favourite player (Joe Hachem) plays there.

Anyway, after this life story of mine heh, I'm going to finish of by saying It's nice to meet you all, and of course, See Ya at the tables. :D :D :D :D

Good luck mate. If you are on AEST "sweet" time for most poker rooms is about 8am-4pm saturday and sunday, which corresponds with Euro friday / saturday nights. Our evenings are early afternoon in Europe, so if you play our weeknights be prepared to be playing far less fish and far more regulars.

Edit - and if you want to play in freerolls / promotional tourneys, youd best be prepared to skive off monday sick. They tend to start Sunday arvo Euro time which is midnight + monday morning :(

Cool, I'll probably be online on Sundays at that time, but on weekdays it'll usually be restricted till around 11:00 PM AEST (2:00 GMT?)

Shame about the bigger tourneys, however I'll just craft a bankroll out of the money I'm giving and just chip away at bigger chunks of cash as I'm more confident and have a suitable bankroll.

Thanks for the tips and hopefully I can have a game with you sometime :)
