      Known players:
      Position:
      Stack
      MP1:
      $8.62
      MP2:
      $27.11
      MP3:
      $21.70
      Hero:
      $5.35

      0.1/0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.67 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9:spade: , 9:heart:
      UTG2 folds, MP1 calls $0.25, MP2 raises to $0.50, MP3 calls $0.50, Hero raises to $5.35 (All-In), 4 folds, MP2 calls $4.85, MP3 calls $4.85.

      Final Pot: $16.65

      Thoughts:
      - Limping/minraising is weak so I figured a decent amount of fold equity/squeezing potential.
      - Push rather than bet because a standard bet would be almost half our stack and push generates more fold equity.
      - If we are called by one player our equity is often good especially with all the dead money.
      - Is this a strong move or do I too often get called by several players?

With 6 BBs on the table it's an easy push. And min-raising is weak, yeah, we can disconsider them.

I wouldn't worry about that too much, since you should be well ahead of their range with 99, so it's actually in your interest to get called by worse hands. On the other hand if you see someone making this kind of play with monsters or other strong hands you should make a note for future reference.

      Hello!

you generate nice fold equity, a shove is a good move, and even if you get called, you'll likely be ahead or face a coinflip with your 99 :) . so it was definetely +EV.

      Hi phil,

I like the play and you should make notes of the plays Opponents make after the hand ;)

      Best regards,
