I feel that maybe my turn bet should have been bigger.

By the river surely I had to call even though any J beats me?

Turn check-raise is indeed too small OOP. Raise to 4 ou 5x.
His river bet may be some random flushdraw that called your turn check-raise and know he's bet/folding, but you shouldn't be check-raising river again often, so it might not be it.
River is not the best card in the world, but you have a full and I'd call 1/2 here. Another possibility and is what I'd do after check-raising turn is bet/folding. They won't raise has a bluff often and you can still value some flush hands with a smaller size.
Notice he should be betting his Jx OTF quite often on that board.

      What a river xD

      raise turn bigger please.
River it's a call IMO. If we assume that this guy is capable of raising sth like 76s, A6s, 86s it makes it even more a call.

But he's a recreational with less than 100bb he can 3-bet anything, bet flushes OTR (xD ) or even AA, KK, QQ sometimes.

And more on you don't have to be right with that call alot, given the amount we have to pay to see the showdown

      Raise bigger OTT.
Call and lose OTR because it's often Jx.

NL2 seems to be full of lunatics, making it easier it places and awkward in a lot of others :D

No one would just go ahead and bet the turn instead of check raising?

I would stack off the turn with a bet and as played I would shove against him, because he had only a 79,5bb starting stack.

I probably would've, but I prefer OP's line. Jx and 6x is betting there anyway, so a c/r takes more value out of those hands while still inducing a bluff bet. And I don't believe a weaker hand like 88 or 99 would call turn and river with 2 overcards on the board, so a bet on the river in case villain checks back will still get a good value out of them.
