I think PS.com should remove "good for beginners" and add "don't register if you beginner".

What they did? They changed PartyPoints earned per hands to ridiculous amounts:

      Limit games
Limit Raked hands needed for 10 PartyPoints
      $0.05/$0.10 530
      $0.10/$0.20 500
      $0.15/$0.30 360
      $0.25/$0.50 200
      $0.50/$1 57
      $1/$2 57
      $2/$4 18
      $3/$6 14
      $5/$10 13
      $10/$20 12
      $15/$30 12
      $20/$40 12
      $30/$60 11
      $50/$100 7
      $100/$200 6
      $250/$500 6

      No-limit and pot-limit games
Blinds Raked hands needed for 10 PartyPoints
      $0.02/$0.04 580
      $0.05/$0.10 380
      $0.10/$0.25 100
      $0.25/$0.50 67
      $0.50/$1 40
      $1/$2 25
      $2/$4 17
      $3/$6 14
      $5/$10 13
      $10/$20 11
      $15/$30 11
      $25/$50 7

with starting 50$ its almost imposible to collect those 300 points in time if you not multitabling 50 tables 8 hours a day lol... (yes, its raked hands, not all)

My PS second bonus (+100$) now stuck at 44%

And another thing, PS should change ratio StrategyPoints vs PartyPoints... coz all party players now will lose status in 2 weeks lol (at least microstakes players)

Need to change room, (too bad, i liked party), any sugestions?

Other than soft play in NL10 games there is nothing else for beginners to play there other than the $1 turbo sng's. It is one of the last rooms I would recommend to someone with their first $50. And the new hands requirements are absurd

Well actually I think compared to other platforms Party gave away twice as many points. NL10/25 is **** now anyway because there are a gazillion SSS players. Anyway stars is best poker site for play and fishyness but the SP's on lower limits suck. NL2 -25.

A site like mansion with 1$ rake = 4SP is best for SP but honestly ipoker is terrible and don't join it because u will lose/tilt your monies away :D

I can't believe they actually did this!? The hand requirements were 160 raked hands for 10 Partypoints on NL 10 just yesterday!!

The Gladiator promotion is over for me, then. I was aiming for the $200 reward of getting 200 Points on 10 days. It was my Easter Masterplan, to which I had devoted four days of intense grinding already. That would've also earned me Platinum level on PokerStrategy. Now I got screwed over big time without prior notice, in the middle of it!

I was so puzzled to see tonight that, after grinding even harder than I required on other days to get the 200 points, and even combining my NL10 12-tabling with some mid stakes FL tables, losing around 3 buy-ins of my natural game because of that (I suck at FL), just so I coud reach the goal faster, I only got 99 of them. Now I see the reason behind that. Holy shit. I'm so pissed right now. They just took away their main advantage versus Pokerstars, which was great rewards and SP-collection rate even for micro-stakes players.

Why should I play at Party from now on?
      I.... just.... cannot.... believe... it!
      OMG!

OMG! I had 50$ to go from a 100$ bonus and I was hoping for 40$ from the Gladiator. I am playing NL4 SH on 4 tables and I was doing easily the 25 points/day needed. Now I'd have to play like 3 times more in order to do those 25 points each day, and this is just impossible.

How stupid can they be to change this in the middle of the promotion? Probably it will cut off their traffic like hell.

Thats an answer from them... sure they don't know about BRM. They offering compensation as 20% bonus for up to 200$, but it's same shit... i would not be able to clear it lol... :)

We are very sorry to hear about your decision to stop playing on our site just because we made a necessary change in the amount of played hands needed to earn 10 Party Points at the low stakes games ($0.02/$0.04 and $0.05/$0.10 NL and Pot limt games, as well as $0.05/$0.10, $0.10/$0.20 and $0.15/$0.30 Limit games). It is natural to feel displeased by this situation as you play mainly on low stakes. Let me remind you, however, that the game is the same in the higher stakes- it does not mean that that the players who play such games are better than the other. So, there is no reason for you to feel insecure about your poker abilities. Please get a shot at our $0.10/$0.25 NL games as the stakes are still low and the number of hands to earn 10 points has not changed.

So basicly we where forced to play at 10/25 stakes. Yday i gave it a try (a bit over my BR), was in + after 150 hands tho... donno what to to now with party.

@LMOJ how many hands were you playing a day?

This move almost doesn't surprise me. Party is running their own business into the ground by making stupid decisions such as this one. I mean how much money will they possibly save this way at the loss of many beginning players.

I mean the micro stakes on party are pathetic - on Nl25 and NL50 the low amount of fullring tables is ridiculous; even more so when you consider have of the tables on NL25 of jackpot tables!

I still have a few bonuses to clear but now I might leave it - I was mass multi-tabling NL10. If there are any NL10 party players who still have bonuses to clear please do the same thing I did and email a letter of complaint to info@partypoker.com - this is the only hope we have of them changing the policy.

totaly agree..i send a mail with complains today about their new structure of PartyPoints reward...its just ridiculous...I hope after The Gladiator promotion ends they will post something like "due infinite complains we decided to change the points reward how it was before....or something like that :D

with this move they force you to play at 0.10--0.25 without BR management.....a easy job for veterans of those limits to "clear us" like a bonus for them...its just pathetic

I'll be sending an email of complaint to party about this ridiculous decision, 580 raked hands on NL4 is epuivilent to approx 1500 played hands. therefore to clear a 300 point bonus you need to play (1500x30) 45000 hands approx playing BSS. Impoossible to play short stack on NL10 as almost all tables have 4+ short stacks, believe this to be the case on NL25 as well. Party have effectively asked all low stakes players to leave and find another poker room, I'll give them to the end of the month to change it back or i'm withdrawing and depositing elsewhere. I play BSS, whats the best poker room for low stakes?

Also there rake of 20% on there $1 - $6 sit and goes is an absoloute rip off, nothing left there for begginers or low stakes players.

I have just sent the following email to party incorporating some of the above coments, I will post the reply on this thread when I recieve it:

After playing NL5 yesterday I checked my points balance and there was very little change, I then discovered the party points qualifications had been changed without prior notification. I am affiliated with poker strategy and in order to get access to further training material I need to earn reasonable party points. However this is now not possible as I play on NL5. Also a lot of people sign up to your poker room through poker strategy on a no deposit bonus, surely you will now lose the majority of these new players as the bonus is way too difficult to clear in the given time for most people. I notice the conditions haven't changed at NL25 but I along with many others don't have the bankroll for this level. It would appear you now fall well behind other sites in your rewards system for beginners/low stakes players.

Is this a temporary measure during the gladiator promotion or is it here to stay, if it is changing again when will this be happening?

Good mail, tho from one of mails i didn't posted here there was one sentence:

I can assure you that we simply made a correction to make it fair for all players at all levels.

It's really "fair" now, like super fair!

as far as i see the business of online casinos, they don't earn money on players going broke, they earn money on the rake... so effectively they would earn more if all micro stakes players jump up some levels thus 'risking' that some of them go broke...

Thank you for contacting Customer Service.

Whilst I understand that the increase in the rake hands for earning
party points for No-limit and pot-limit games is an inconvenience,
please note that this is due to a commercial decision.

We tried to ensure that the increase in the rake hand is as low as
possible. More over it was a correction to make it fair for all players
at all levels and it is not a temporary measure due to the gladiator
      promotion.

I understand how you feel, hence I have forwarded your suggestion to the
relevant department for their consideration, and I appreciate the time
you have taken to share your thoughts with us.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site.

You/me everyone else start playing 10/25, or just cashout and go to other sites.

Guess who's gonna cash out? :D

The biggest advantages PP (easy Strategypoints and bonus clearing) had are now gone. The traffic isn't that high that it's unmissable.

Goodbye and goodluck ... after they give me the 10$ from the Gladiator promo.

      Well I was wondering...
If you participate in sit & go's you get 1partypoint for every 1$ fee.
Doest that means that you have to play 5 of them for a partypoint , or do you only get a point if you play in s&g's with a fee minimum 1$?
Anyway , I think it's going to be really hard to earn 300 basic points...
      Any hints for that?
