I know that calling a (standard size) 4bet is generally a horrible move... but you get people doing it from time to time. Is it standard to shove any flop? Let's say I have AK, I 4bet him OOP, and I completely missed the flop...

6max? Depends on the villain. If he's good, he probably has AA/KK.

if he is good he probably doesn't call 4bets.

      edit: he "don't" is wrong

Why not? Flatting 4bets is a standart move with AA/KK. 5betting gives your hand away.

No, it's a bad move. You give good odds to worse hands, and pretty much give your hand away as a monster.

If you have a read that the guy will do it with other hands than AA/KK, then you can shove if you miss. Not ANY flop, but something that won't hit his hand too often. I prefer to have some kind of draw though.
      Otherwise, check/fold.
