Preflop: Hero is CO with J:heart: , J:spade:
Hero raises to $0.80, BU raises to $2.00, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.20.

      Flop: ($4.30) 4:club: , 2:spade: , 5:heart: (2 players)
Hero bets $3.00, BU calls $3.00.

      Turn: ($10.30) 7:diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BU bets $10.30, Hero folds.

Good fold or a little weak? No read on villain yet. I had intended check-call but a pot-size bet wasnt expected.

I think ur line shows a lot of weakness. U call his 3Bet, donk the flop and shut down on the turn. If u decided to hand over initiative just check to him on the flop imho. Granted there aren't many hands that hero is ahead of and are in villains possible 3Bet range but at the same time I think I would B/call shove turn instead. At the worst it'd be an expensive way to get info.
