      River: ($8.73) J (2 players)

      Final Pot: $8.73.

      Hi,
What's the correct postflop play in this situation? The pot is $2.25, the villain has $3.24 remaining, so a CBet commits me. So what should I do? No CBet? Push as CBet? CBet/fold?

      Thanks!

Since c-bet commits you, then you could go for c/r on the flop. In this way, villain might commit himself with worse hands.

And if I check and he pushes, do I fold or call?

I would call. If you checks, then you induce villain to bet anything. And direct shove is usually sign of weakness (strong means weak :) ). He might direct shove an air or flush draw (which you are ahead). Sometimes you may face QQ or KK (which shoves directly), but that is variance. And if you go for c/r, QQ or KK might sometimes fold.
