      BB ($12)
      UTG ($11.24) 17/14 2.3af 20wtsd 1400h
      UTG+1 ($8.90)
      CO ($11.31)
      Hero ($12.17)

      Dealt to Hero A:diamond: Q:diamond:

UTG raises to $0.40, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.40, fold, fold,

      FLOP ($0.95) 9:heart: K:diamond: 2:spade:

UTG bets $1.50, Hero raises to $4.50, UTG folds, , Hero shows A:diamond: Q:diamond: ,

if i 3bet this guy he will either push with AA/KK/AK or he will fold. considering he is UTG raiser i think i could exploit him and that is why i played this hand this way. any comments?

also i knew that he is capable of folding overpairs

Um, you realise you have the nuts on the turn right?

Anyway, 3betting preflop is not good vs utg raiser. Raising the flop is not very good since you can only rep 77 or things he beat. Floating with equity is okay I think, but if you didn't hit on the turn I wouldn't want to raise there. The board hits his range pretty well, and he's not likely 2nd barreling 2nd pair type of hands on it.

As played I'm not raising the turn if you have the read that he's capable of folding overpairs. I'd rather raise the river (we're in position so we don't have to be afraid of a check behind) and atleast get his 3 barrels - a turn raise is sooo strong.

      Edit:
      Right.. the correct hand..

Raising the turn here is better than in the last hand, because you can easier represent a set here. However.... I wouldn't really want to get involved in such bluffs on NL10 in general. But well if you have the strong read that he can fold overpairs on the turn then this is one of the better boards for you to do it on. :)
