I've just got HandRecorder working so I thought I'd celebrate by posting a few hands from my last session.

1. I think I could've got more value here but nobody seemed interested in the pot. (Overbet on the turn was an accident.)

PartyPoker $25 NL Hold'em [color:#0000FF](8 handed) Recorded and converted with HandRecorder

Stacks & Stats
UTG+2 ($60.45)
MP1 ($41.81)
CO ($25)
BU ($10.40)
SB ($15.62)
MP2 ($25)
MP3 ($4.75)
Hero ($25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A:club: , T:spade:

Flop: ($0.85) 8:heart: , 6:spade: , A:diamond: [color:#0000FF](4 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, MP3 checks, BU checks.

Turn: ($0.85) 7:club: [color:#0000FF](4 players)
[color:#FF0000]Hero bets $1, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, BU calls $1.

River: ($2.85) 9:heart: [color:#0000FF](2 players)
[color:#FF0000]Hero bets $2, BU calls $2.

Final Pot: $6.85.

2. Everyone's second favourite hand meets something that looks like aces far too often, but I've trained myself never to fold kings. Probably a bad habit, should I lose it for cases like these?

Stacks & Stats
SB ($41.81)
BU ($25.90)
UTG+2 ($13.20)
CO ($4.65)
MP1 ($8.30)
BB ($24.50)
MP3 ($13.50)
Hero ($44.60)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K:club: , K:spade:
[color:#666666]1 folds, MP1 calls $0.25, [color:#FF0000]Hero raises to $1.25, [color:#666666]4 folds, [color:#FF0000]BB raises to $2.25, [color:#666666]1 folds, [color:#FF0000]Hero raises to $5, [color:#FF0000]BB raises to $4.50, [color:#FF0000]Hero raises to $43.35 (all-in), BB calls $16.75 (all-in).

...raises to $4.50? That's obviously wrong, I think it was a minraise. I suppose that nothing's reading party NL hand histories correctly right now.

...actually, I've run out of hands I have actual questions about already. Most of those I recorded were just horrible, horrible beats.

I think the first hand is well played as it is, the Turn bet ofc is a bit big but you wrote it was an accident.
I don't really like betting out on the flop here so the check is fine and as nobody is interested the bet on the turn is fine as well as the Valuebet on the river with your straight.

Pushing KK in the second hand is totally fine too, you can't throw them away and I don't like calling that much, you won't get away from the overpair anyways and if an Ace falls the pot is really big already and it would hurt to let your kings go.
It's just bad luck so you shouldn't worry too much about Kings in such a spot.
