Hi everyone, ![]()
I live in England (near Bristol) and I've been a mostly non active member of PokerStrategy.com since 2009.
I started out learning fixed limit hold'em using the great video courses of Boomer and others while working my way up the micros to 0.25/0.50, but then I had to withdraw most of my bankroll for personal matters and I lost interest after going back to 1/2 cent games. Since then I've tried to study other formats, but I've kept getting distracted by playing/learning other formats/tournaments.
I've decided to make a fresh start at learning, and hopefully beating, 6-Max NL cash games and I am also going to join the Bankroll Challenge to help me stay focused and motivated.
I currently work 4 on/4 off 12 hour night shifts as a production operative, so I will have to work a study and play routine around that, however I am planning to knock it on the head in November for the world cup, Christmas and new year, so aim to have more study/play time from then until the start of February.
My starting bankroll on Pokerstars, which I will be using for the bankroll challenge, is $160.71, and I will be starting on NL2 to get back into the swing of things. I do have another bankroll on BetFred, but since this only App/Web-browser based, I only use it for micro-stakes tournaments for strategy points purposes and won't be including it in the blog or bankroll challenge.
Current Main Poker Goal: To reach NL25 by the 1st February 2023.
Bankroll Challenge:
Starting Bankroll: $160.71
Goal: $875
I'll expand on my goals, study, and bankroll management plans in a future post.
Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables, Rosscoe. ♠_drink:
