      Low fold to cbet? Then why are you raising preflop? Just check, hit something and then make the money. If he doesn't fold often to cbets then you'll lose money the 2/3rds you don't hit ;)

      To make the rest short and answer your question: Yes, just cbet once and give up. The J is not really much of a scarecard - I'd prefer a K or an A.
