Preflop: Hero is CO with A:heart: , J:diamond:
6 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BU folds, SB calls $0.65, BB folds.

      Flop: ($1.75) 8:heart: , 8:club: , 8:spade: (3 players)

      River: ($3.25) 7:diamond: (2 players)
      SB bets $2.31, Hero folds.

      Final Pot: $5.56

Obviously I'm not giving V credit for the other 8 here, but I think he has a pocket pair in this spot enough of the time for my fold to be correct. Am I being too cautious?
I only made a min bet on flop as didn't know what I'd be representing, other than an over pair and felt that if he called he most likely had me beat so didn't want to waste any more money. Again, is this ok?

      TIA

      Hey Tim64,

I would bet 1-1.10$ also to make it less cheap for him to float you or call you with overcards. After he does call your c-bet I'm shutting down and playing c/f all the way unless I improve. Remember, always c-bet within limits 1/2 pot to 2/3 of the pot, depending on the structure of the board, that way you won't overbet/underbet the pot almost never.

      Regards,
