      Known players:
      Position:
      Stack
      Hero:
      $9.63
      BB:
      $50.70

      0.25/0.5 No-Limit Hold'em (10 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.67 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is SB with J:spade: , T:heart:
8 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, BB calls $1.00.

      Flop: ($3.00) 4:diamond: , 8:spade: , 6:diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets $2.00, BB raises to $8.85, Hero folds.

      Final Pot: $13.85

With no stats, should I be folding pf, sklansky pushing, or open raising as played? After the call, is it even worth c-betting?
      Thanks

With no stats I'd be folding JTo pre-flop. With these stats I'd also be folding since BB seems pretty loose.

As played I would c-bet/fold as in a standard raise.

With no stats I would play like you did on this hand, but as you have BB's stats, his bbvsSteal = 0 and 27 vp, I just fold this hand preflop.

Hmm, you steal against unknown with JTo? Maybe my range is too tight.. Roughly, what would your range be for such a situation?

Usually I have stats when I'm stealing from sb, but in that case, against unknown opponent I would raise with: 22+, any Ax, JT+, K8+, Q9+, T9s, 98s. But I am quite loose for sss player :D

And no one in favour of just pushing pf - which according to my Sklansky chart ('modified ranges') is +EV? Though maybe I've misunderstood?

I didn't really go through Slansky's crazy numbers yet, so no idea :D

      Hey Tim64,

I would fold JTo in the SB against unknown and against loose opponent like this one preflop.

I use S-C ranges and not modified ones, so I would fold JTo here, but since it's in the modified ranges a push should be profitable, thus it's better to push than to fold.

So, in summary, against tight opponent raise 3BB and against unknown/loose opponent push>fold>raise3BB.

      Regards,
