      I have just downloaded V67

The follow problems now occur as opposed to V62:-

All the hands are tracked, but the total amount won seems to keep resetting itself to zero. So at the end of todays session of 143 hands Elephants shows $-0.43 but actual was +$3.97

The black box on the poker table has two new sub boxes numbers 1 and 2, what are these for?

On the overview page on V62 there was box showing stats for winnings at all blind levels along with day, month ,year. This has gone on V67, how do I get it back as only day, mnoth, year remain.

      Thanx

      Hello andyb43,

I would suggest try importing from your your HH folder manually rather than by autoimporting as i have heard that it can sometimes miss hands and see if this will correct the problem.

As for the boxes 1 and 2, if i remember correctly 1 is for table stats and 2 is for your stats.

The stats for the various levels have now been moved to the Analysis page now.

      Kind Regards,
      -Steve

      hI Steve,

Thanx I will try that. ALthough i have not detected any hands missing.

V67 though seems generally screwy compared to V62. It really slows down my whole computer, number of hands per player are all overlaid for some reason (as if it is adding todays hands to previuos but overlaying them).

The Elephant icon in the lower toolbar though just seems to randomly make up win or loss rates. The final number at the end of play is transfered to the graph. However if you add up the numbres in the HHpage the answer corresponds to the real amount $won.....but the erronous amount appears in all my stats.

Any advice on how to get win/loss per NL level on the overview page?

      Thanx

      Again
      Andy

      Steve if you're out there.......................

The hands are being captured and they appear in the correct sequence on the 'Hands' page. So i figure there is something wrong between the capturing of hands and the development of data.

Its the maths that seems to be off along with the running tally icon. The icon will display 75 hands played then update to 68 hands played! Then back to 75 hands played but with a different win amount. The summary amounts and bb/100 are always wrong at the end of play even though as i said earlier all the hands are captured correctly.

      Thanx
      Andy

      Hey Donkey Patrol buddy :)

Not my specialist subject I'm afraid, as you are already aware, but I do recall an elephant bug/fix thread somewhere that i advertised in the community news.

Might be worth checking this and/or posting the problems your encountering.

Will try to find the link for you mate.

      Bart

      Edit: found it..... here.

      Hi Bart

thanx for the link................but they don't answer questions there either.................really annoying. :s_mad:

A broken tool is not a tool at all...........

Maybe you (or somebody) could answer this simple question?

If I uninstall Elephant and download it again does my data base remain in the postgestl therefore allowing me to re-access it? The thing is screwing with the speed of my entire computer

      Cheers

      Andy

PS any news on next BOTD?

      Hello andyb43,

Your best bet would be back-up your database first, that way you can just re-import all the hands after you have re-installed Elephant and Postgre.

This link may well help you out if you are planning to uninstall postgre as well andy.

      Deinstalling PostgreSQL correctly

      Kind Regards,
      -Steve

      Hello andy,

Its not vitally important to unistall postgre as well.

As for backing up your database, you can do from within Elephant under Database Management in the Options tab if im correct. And yes you can back it up anywhere of your choosing.

      Kind Regards,
      -Steve

Hi Steve.........I was about to do as you suggested when I noticed a tab called 'optimize database'. SO I used it and did a re-boot. Guess what? All the problems listed above disappeared! (I saved my DB anyway) :f_biggrin: :f_biggrin:

I also cannot beleive how damn quick the Elephant has become as well.
I would recommend 'optimizing' to all users.

      Thanx again for the input.
