Do you think chat helps your game?

      I normally don't chat much even though I usually only play two S n Gs at a time. Just got in a total time waste of an arguement, didn't really tilt me but I was busy thinking what to say when I should have been thinking about the board.

      Do you think you need to chat for a complete game and can you get reads from chat?

      Personally I don't chat much either, but it can be helpful at times. E.g. identifying the more "emotional" players etc...

      Thanks for that. I feel friendly chat adds to fold equity and arguements definately get you called more for a reduction in your FE.

      The chat is great to identify fishes, drunk people or players on tilt.


      Chating player = money :s_biggrin:

      Chat usually distracts me so i usually don't start chatting, but respond if someone writes to me and sometimes tell nits to gtfo if they berate fish for making bad calls and sucking out. Playing HU trash talking could be a good tool for tilt induce, at least i got on mokey tilt when trash talker sucked out on me. :D
