      Known players:

      0.25/0.5 No-Limit Hold'em (10 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.67 by

Preflop: Hero is SB with T:heart: , 9:heart:
5 folds, MP3 calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, BU folds, Hero calls $0.25, BB checks.

      Flop: ($2.00) 8:diamond: , 9:diamond: , T:spade: (4 players)
Hero bets $1.90, BB folds, MP3 calls $1.90, CO folds.

      Turn: ($5.80) J:heart: (2 players)
      Hero checks, MP3 checks.

      River: ($5.80) J:diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets $8.00, Hero folds.

      Final Pot: $13.80

I know it's a very loose complete - I don't usually complete without more callers pf. As played, am I alright to fold on the river - just felt there were too many hands beating me?

To me (from the very limited stats) MP3 looks reasonably tight post flop and I don't think he would call on the flop with total air.

That leaves you beating 89 and maybe 9x tying with T2 to T9 (excluding T7) and losing to anything else so I don't think the fold is too bad at all.

Perhaps a turn bet/fold but then how do you respond if the villian calls when out of position on the river.

      Hey Tim64,

completing SCs after 2 limpers seems fine to me.

The flop it's well played, you need to protect and build up the pot.

On the turn I would also shut down, because I don't think you beat much on 4 card connected board with 2-pair and specially no worse hand is gonna call your push imo.

On the river, you really don't beat anything anymore, even Jx hands have you beat now and you have an easy c/f.
