      Hi all

Suffered quite a few bad beats in the past few days, cost me a bit of money. This is the worst of them all.

First of all I did in fact break BRM, because I couldn't find a 1c/2c table to sit down at, so went to a 2/5 table.

Anyway here's the hand I played which cost me $5. I don't think I played it badly. Advice would be appreciated. I will just show the results because I don't think it really matters in this hand, went all in after the flop.

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      $0.02/$0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      BB:
      $5.37
      UTG1:
      $5.27
      UTG2:
      $1.07
      MP1:
      $5.09
      MP2:
      $1.77
      MP3:
      $5.69
      CO:
      $4.56
      BU(Hero):
      $4.93
      SB:
      $4.55

Preflop: Hero is BU with A, A.
4 folds, MP3 raises to $0.17, CO folds, Hero raises to $0.5, SB calls $0.48, BB folds, MP3 calls $0.33.

      Flop: ($1.55) 4, 9, 6 (3 players)
SB bets $0.30, MP3 calls $0.30, Hero raises to $1, SB folds, MP3 raises to $3, Hero raises to $4.43, MP3 calls $1.43.

      Turn: ($10.71) 7 (2 players)

      River: ($10.71) 7 (2 players)

      Final Pot: $10.71.

      Results follow:

Hero shows two pairs, aces and sevens (A A)
      MP3 shows three of a kind, sevens (8 7)
MP3 wins with three of a kind, sevens (8 7).

      Thanks a lot

What's your question..? Hand seems fine to me. Ok you got a bad beat but he had 8 outs with 3 backdoors (trips and flush ;) ), so it's not like you were 99% to win ;)

Mainly just want to know if I played the hand ok.

His chance of winning was about 30%, ok so not a huge bad beat, but still felt very unlucky indeed.

Just psychological I guess. I would feel better if the river was 5 or a 10, which is what he was aiming for.

Since it came out a 7, it could have just as easily been a Ace or something different.
