      Hey guys,

Yesterday my bankroll was $614 so i thought i'd move up to NL25. Its not the first time iv played NL25 but the time before were with bad BRM. Anyway i went straight into playing 6 tables at a time and now my bankroll is back down to $444. Should i keep grinding NL10 and try again with a Bankrool of $700? What should i do. Thanks Joronamo.

Are you playing SSS? You can play NL25 as long as you have 30BI, meaning $150 (30x$5). If you start to loose then you should head back to NL10 if you drop to $60.

Downswings are part of the game. The problem is when you start seeing it as a problem when it isn't, so to fix it you start to do mistakes, like playing worse hands to compensate, and you actually will loose more. Other issues can be starting to play scared money, etc.

If you're really not confident in your game, then its best for you to make a break and analyze your hands played on NL25. You can also view a few videos from NL25 FR and SH (again no idea what you are playing) here at pokerstrategy.

      Hello!

I think you should wait till you have $750 min IMO + start with fewer tables and step down when you lose 5BI :) .

When I was moving up to NL25 I started with making shots when having 23-24BI. If I found a good table I joined and tried to get a feel of the game to get myself used to the bigger pots. It was just one table at a time. If I started losing (not even the whole stack - just a few minor hands) I left immediately, went back to NL10 and waited for another opportunity.

well i would grind it back up ;)

Also when you move to a new limit dont start with less tables. When i moved up
i 1 tabled for 1k hands so i could establish a BR on that limit.

But its ok to start taking shots at $625 (25 BI) imo because if they go well then you have a proper comfortable BR on that limit.

I got crushed by variance using SSS on NL25 but it's poker so I grinded for 2 weeks now and I'm gonna wait until I have 200$ to start taking shots again at NL25.Until then NL10.

Next time play 2 tables at first, then add 2more, then 2more :] if u lose 3BI's step down:) And next time you should take a shot at NL25 with 25-30 BIs (better 30) GL :]
