Bet pot on the flop to protect my hand against straight and flush draws. But my call was wrong here probably, especially after check raise.

If you have reads the he only c/r with a strong made hand you can fold but with out any reads I'm calling him down. he can check/raise all in here with all sorts of hands that includes pairs+combo draws.

Your pot odds are 1.58:1 which is ~ 38.7%

      Equity Win Tie Loss Hand
      Player 1: 40.620% 38.713% 3.815% 57.472% KsKh
      Player 2: 59.380% 57.472% 3.815% 38.713% JJ-99, AhJh, KQs/o, QJs/o, JTs/o

Your Equity against this wide range is 40.6% Which means the call is EV+.

Anther positive (and important) thing about calling that will get information on him and can make wiser decisions later on.
