      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.50(BB) Replayer
      SB ($12.35)
      Hero ($9.25)
      UTG ($21.78)
      UTG+1 ($29.44)
      UTG+2 ($8.95)
      MP1 ($10)
      MP2 ($9.44)
      CO ($5.40)
      BTN ($103)

      Dealt to Hero 7:heart: 8:heart:

fold, fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to $1.50, fold, Hero raises to $9.25 (AI),

Villain is 16/10 with 42 ats (64 ats from BTN), 50% fold steal to 3bet. 1k hands.

78s is not in the chart, but this guy is nearly stealing with any 2, so a semi-bluff re-steal should do fine here?

Taking his stats at face-value and assuming that he will not adjust his stealing strategy means that you can re-steal in about 40% of cases. This villain is easily exploited.

This is the sort of opponent I think its possible you can reduce your 3bet size against in order that you can make some semibluff/fold resteals.

I don't know if thats faesible at NL50 though, you have no highcard value for getting your stack in.

      Hi dandycal,

with given stats you are more or less breaking even against this opponent. If you take 64 ATS and 50% FE into consideration I get -0.05BB EV. So I would lean towards folding here. But you have only 1k hands on him, so if you in the future see he's folding more often to resteal then you can start restealing also hands like 78s.

I don't really like smallish bluff resteal, because I think if we do that we will have to go broke against this opponent presuming he goes broke with 50% of his 64 BTN ATS.

Also, I don't see the problem for not having a high card as we are pushing here for FE and expect to be called with better hand when we do get called. On the other hand 78s won't be often dominated by opponent's calling range which is more important.
