If you did it in a suspicious manner, yes.

They can ban you for whatever they want whenever they want.

Card counting in Blackjack is not illegal, nor against the rules of blackjack. In fact it is a sound and smart mathematical way to play the game. But the casinos ban it because they choose to.

I wouldn't worry about poker though. Otherwise they would be banning Phil Ivey and such for winning. They are not going to do that because that would be bad for business.

On the other hand, in blackjack, or roulette as you mentioned, you are winning money from the house. So it is in the casinos interest to curb practices such as card counting. With poker, you are winning money from other players. The casino gets its money regardless of winning or losing. The more people that play, the more money they make.

100 a day, 7 days a week, for months on end. I think they'd get suspicious.

You really think you can beat roullete? :D You're not the first one..

I've heard of bwin banning players, because they win. Not in poker, though. On the sport bookies. In poker they don't really give a shit.

I'm pretty sure that they'll be happy if you'll play roulette regardless of short term results.

The sports bookies don't really ban the players - they just restrict the amount of money the gamblers can bet - if it was unlimited, they set a limit of $20 a game, for the specific gambler if they find anything suspicious in his history....

P.s. And they would never ban you for winning 100$ per day. That kind of sum is not worth mentioning.

However if you're cheating, you will get banned by - Da Police. That's the regular practice in most of European casinos. All of them are full of cameras and 'inspectors' supervising the action. All the winnings/losses are electronically tracked and as in poker there is some variance but whenever a loss on one table greatly deviates from normal couple of nights in the row it's time to become suspicious.

In my time as a croupier 3 cheaters were caught in our casino - one at a roulette table (stealing other players' chips) and the other two at the poker (carribean) table. They were switching cards and the only thing they did wrong was they played there too many nights in the row and became suspicous. Before that they've cheated about 10 casinos on their way to Slovenia and were headed to Italy and did all the scam very profesionally. And the most interesting part of all is that they were - RUSSIAN! :D

You should write a blog about working for a casino, sounds like it would be a good read.

This is what I don't understand, some people think Russians have hacked partypoker, but as you can clearly see they have hacked the casino's. Wake up people!
