      I hate these spots too. I would bet a little more on that flop for protection and value. After he raises I think his range is 22+ with a couple of fds. Not sure what his calling range for a shove is here. I guess if you don`t mind the variance you can shove there and hope he calls with overpairs or fd. You could also take safer approach and call his minraise and reevaluate turn being IP tho.

      The problem with a call is that there are too many cards we don't want to see on the turn. any spade, King or an Ace. These spots against unknowns sometimes look to me like a gamble. This time I decided to go with the variance.

      It is kind of a gamble. There is no best way to play these spots vs unknown IMO. If you raise you lose value from most of the worse hands he would bet again and if you decide to call you have to call at least one more street even on an ugly turn card.

      Seems standard, but you should post next time stats or just SB image.
      Against passive player I tend to call flop and then decide on the turn, although in 80bb playing there for stacks is fine
