calling the turn minraise is good imo, bc my kicker isnt too bad in this spot; i would have called a weak river bet from the UTG guy on a blank river, but have an easy fold against a SB bet on the 3 flush board

not doing well with my weak valuebets on the river, they keep on getting raised? have to start doing this with monsters :)

Hey Blinz, didn't know you were still (or again?) going at it in NL. :)

I'm no expert but I think I saw a few things for consideration.

1.) Half potsize is a nice bet on this flop but I think you should ramp it up on the turn, a suited King isn't unlikely here, 2/3-potsized bet would probably be better (half isn't good enough if he has a flushdraw considering his implied odds).
The river is unpleasent with odds of almost 3-1, but you're better at this than me so my question back is: How often do you think your opponent will raise here with anything other than a flush or a fullhouse of Tens? Did you have any reads on his betting/calling patterns so far?

2.) Well played as far as I can see

3.) I think the flop here is a quite decent to steal his initiative by betting out around half-2/3 potsize. His check behind and his minor turnbet worries me a bit here. The river is a pretty classic situation of giving youself the correct odds to call, I'm a bit hesistent about the betting out but I can understand your reasoning.

4.) Any reads on your opponent? That would be the most important thing for me here. Looks he's protecting a set to me here.

      5.) I think so

6.) I think this is another good flop to take away his initiative or get more information by betting out, it's really a question here if he has overcards, a pocket pair (probably better than yours) or if he is on a blind defense (any reads again? :) ). Besides you have to protect against a flushdraw here so simply calling looks too weak to me.

A bit limited advice I'm afraid but I hope it helps :) . (and it's fun to do ;) )

      1) what i am mainly worried about here is how to extract maximum value from a K (if he has a flushdraw on the turn and hits it, so be it and against a 5 i will get action no matter what)
i think with the 1/2 ps bets i dont scare him off too much

      4) folding the flop looks awfully weak, but i mean, i dont think i can call even this turn and he will push almost always, so fold flop feels like a good choiche.

about the flop hu donks i dont really know alot about those spots, probably something i have to get better used too.
thanks for the comments and ideas :)

      1) a little bit more on the turn. he wont fold a king here. river is fine.

      2) nh

      3) 3-bet preflop to win the pot right there. calling OOP with no initiative sucks.

      4) I'd raise the flop about 3*times his raise which forces him to go allin. against a very passive opponent your could directly fold the flop since you are also sandwiched.

      5) $4 on the flop, rest is fine.

      6) i like c/c flop. the pot stays small and you gain his contibet. i'd lead out the turn and fold to a raise. if he calls the turn, you should probably fold the river if he bets over 1/3 pot.

general rule for BB play vs a button/co steal: reraise or fold with most hands (except PPs/ suited cons?) ? obviously there are exceptions etc but relatively often correct?

      4) what range do you put SB on that you want to go all in against him? flushdraw/set/KJ/QJ/weird two pair; i dont think we are in great shape against that range so i would rather fold. Do you generally see a different range here?

first question: yes. I'd also fold suited cons if there is only you and the raiser. drawing hands are hard to play HU OOP without initiative.

well, I put him on Flushdraw or JT, QJ, KJ etc. you are only behind against 33 or 66 as a reasonable hand. maybe j6, but thats rather unlikely. i think most opponents would play the flop differently with a set. they would check/miniraise or do some other weird play.
