      Wanted a cheap showdown, was unsure if he had me beat, but it didnt seem like he had anything, but he probably would have folded to a bet anyways.

      I do not think this is a good spot for a limp-in.

      If MP2 is bad enough raise it up preflop to take the initiative, else just fold it. A9o can't really flop anything good, unless you luckbox your way to a 99x or A9x flop, it's not strong enough to play multiway without initiative.

      And you get to see why with the postflop action in this hand. You flop a top pair, which may or may not be good given your middling kicker, and the board is somewhat drawy with 3 opponents. With AK you would protect, with A6 you wouldn't, what now with A9? Is it strong enough to warrant building a huge pot for the sake of protection? I'd say no.
      I would just call the flop bet and try to check it down now that i'm in that situation.
