I checked the turn because I was thinking he has an ace. But after he checked the river, I was thinking maybe he hasn't an ace. So I automatically bet. But maybe I should bet really small there, because if he hasn't ace, he will not call.

      Hi,

I'd just check behind that river, that guy seems passive but on the tight side, i think when he calls that flop he mostly has either an A or a spade in his hand, which means when the flushdraw misses on the river you're only looking at Ax most of the time.

If you have a better read and think he might peel there with something like 8s8c and still call a river bet then it's fine, but it's thin.

      Hope it helps.
