      I don't think you can go wrong with this hand really, he probably has whiffed overcards or another overpair there. Given his aggression you can probably bet/shove the flop or bet flop check/shove turn if he calls the flop he'll likely bet the turn. bet bet bet is also ok, even turning your hand into a bluff catcher like you unintentionally did has merit since he's over aggressive.

      why not check/raise the turn? seen as though his bet is quite small and by check/calling you risk giving a free showdown to alot of worse pocket pair that would probably have called your raise?
