Playing in 3bet pots is my weak point.

I think that still I have to bet on the flop.
My plan was to bet once, and then play c/f.
Does my bet sizeing is fine?

I'd make the flop bet slightly bigger ($2.75ish)

Nice hand otherwise I think. Ultra dry board, perfect to c-bet.

Depends on your opponent really, against most tags you're almost turning QQ into a bluff when you c-bet that A-high flop, because they'll very often fold anything that isn't Ax in a 3bet pot on that board. Some might routinely call a bet with TT-JJ just to make sure you're not full of it, but you need history or he needs to be very floaty by nature for him to decide to continue here with something like 88.

Given that they mostly either have us beat with Ax already or have some kind of 2-outer with a pocket pair i usually check behind here to try and get value on later streets, either from bluffs on their part or by valuebetting myself once i've established that i don't have an A by not c-betting this flop.

Of course if he's a moron none of this stands and he'll call with any pocket pair anyway, so c-betting and c/f is fine in that case.

      Hope it helps.
