      Unless the guy has QJ, or maybe even T9 suited and finally strikes on the river, that happens a lot during downstreaks. :f_biggrin:

      In SSS, downswing is when you're losing most of coinflips and also many situations when you're (seemingly) standing at advantage - like this one.

      Call bets as 'These donkbets' you may only AFTER you see his cards. The guy may easily have 2 pair already. Or even has AQ too. Or, what I met recently few times, slowplays a pair of AA :)

      I think you miss the point a little. The reason we like the donkbet in this spot is because we have top pair top kicker - a made hand (as you of course understand). So our only issue is how to extract as much value from our opponent as we can. If he just checked, we of course bet and we pray that he calls. So, if our opponent bets himself, then the job is done for us and we have to be happy to get our money in - even if our opponent sometimes has the better hand.
