      Mandatory fold against a tag imo as their range for calling the turn bet is mostly Qx, and that's always a value bet from a hand that knows you'll never call any bigger bet.

      Against that guy i'm not sure. He could peel the flop and turn much lighter than any tag even with stuff that got counterfeited on the river, following some kind of reasoning like "oh there is only one big card maybe 77 is good / oh the turn didn't change much, maybe i'm still good" and there is no telling what his $8 could mean, so calling isn't bad given the odds, as it would be a huge mistake to fold if he was somehow doing that with 7high after you seem to give up.
