      Bet bigger on the flop for protection, any A any K any 9 any club is bad for you, that's a lot of turns we don't want to see.

      If you're fine with the variance shoving the turn is also decent, it's 3-way and you'll likely get close to good odds even if you're beat when the money goes in. Considering you'll sometimes see two pairs or combo draws it's not a bad deal.

      Likely safer play on a 3connected 3flushed board is to just pitch it on the turn like you said.
