      Hi all

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      MP1:
      $1.00
      MP2:
      $1.99
      MP3(Hero):
      $2.04
      CO:
      $1.43
      BU:
      $0.96
      SB:
      $2.54
      BB:
      $1.24
      UTG2:
      $0.14

      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 9, 9.
UTG2 folds, MP1 calls $0.02, MP2 calls $0.02, Hero calls $0.02, CO folds, BU calls $0.02, SB calls $0.01, BB checks.

Raise here? I normally limp with small pocket pairs preflop, hope someone raises before me so I can call for set value. TT I raise from any position if no one raises before me though. 99 I normally only raise on button.

      Flop: ($0.12) J, 9, 5 (7 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP1 bets $0.02, MP2 folds, Hero raises to $0.10, BU folds, SB folds, BB folds, MP1 raises to $0.16, Hero raises to $1.92(All-In), MP1 calls $0.80.

I was fully prepared to see a flush, with his min-raise and min-reraise, but I had to call right? Even if he does have a nut flush, I still have 5 outs.

      Turn: ($3.12) J (3 players)

      River: ($3.12) J (3 players)

      Final Pot: $3.12.

      Results follow:

      Hero shows a full-house, jacks full of nines(9c 9s).
      MP1 shows a flush, ace high(7h Ah).

Hero wins with a full-house, jacks full of nines(9c 9s).

      Thanks for any advice.

      hey.

Raise PF 12c. Raise your PPs.

When you call this PF and hit your set it's hard to build the pot to get all-in.
So raise PF and raise flop.
No need to over-shove on flop though. Just keep raising.
Shoving here could scare hands like AJ, J9.

because there could be some flushes I´ think you can also just call re-raise hoping you improve to boat and go for there
and I also like raising pf
