      Hi!

How do you look on loose 3-bets

      Standard Poker strategy is:

      MP2: 88, ATs+, KQs, AJo+
      MP2: 66, A9s, KQs+, AJ+, KQ+
      CO: 55, A2s, KTs+, QTs, A8o+, KQ
      BU: 22, A2+, K7s+, Q9s+, JTs+, K9o+

The default range in Limit Hodem: winning shorthanded strategies is quite same, but also adds some "expert" hands.

Expert Hands (addition to the above):

      MP2: KQ+, KJs+, QJs, JTs, T9s,
      MP3: KQ, QJs, JTs, T9s, 98s
      CO (you are button): KT+, K9s, Q9s+, JTs+, T9s, 98s, 87s

What is your experience with 3-beting with suited connectors?

Especialy on BU it is great for me as it generats a lot of fold equity in addition to hitting monster hand...

      Regards

      Hi funktor,

these are interesting additions. Who's the author?

You should be carfull with them as most are only to disguise your handrange and only necessary against TAGs who would fold too tight to your 3-bet.

Playing them against a callingstation might even be -EV as you can only win with a improved against them (JTs, T9s).

      Hi,

the book is Limit Holdem: winning short-handed strategies

by Terry Borer and Lowrence Mak.

I like the book very much (and re-reading it much), more that the Stox Winning tough holdem games.

I believe that by adding this hands to you range you will be playing approximately 28/22. Also this advanced style goes more with the videos from 2+2 I was provided by my friend.

      Regards

Yeah funktor that book is really really good.
I also prefer it over the Stox one.

I haven't experimented with 3betting pockets like 87s etc... But I guess that against the right opponent (regular TAGs) it can be good. So I'm repeating Cirith here :D

      Does 2+2 have video's?
