      Known players:

      0.25/0.5 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.67 by

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9:club: , 9:heart:
5 folds, BU raises to $1.00, SB folds, Hero raises to $3.00, BU raises to $5.00, Hero raises to $10.00 (All-In), BU calls $5.00.

      Flop: ($20.25) Q:spade: , K:club: , A:heart:
      Turn: ($20.25) A:diamond:
      River: ($20.25) Q:club: (1 players)

      Final Pot: $20.25

Villain unknown; pushing pre seems a bit ott. The minsteal is sometimes a monster but I don't think we can give unknown villain credit for this without reads. In which case std 88/AJ+ should apply here and the only issue for discussion is whether to push immediately. Is that a fair analysis?

At least raise to $3.5 or $4 in order to prevent that you give away to good odds.

It's hard for a Shortstacker to defend against a minraise, some shove, some just reraise to $3 or $3.5

I would just stick it in with a shove, easy and effective

      Best regards,

i usually play 99 the same way.maybe flat call the 4-bet?

no point in the shove i think, yeah equity blah blah.. he 4-bet you very lightly, i think he has big hand and wants to get paid from the get go. either call and hope for a 9, or rags.. or fold it right there.

i am so bad at giving advi...
