      Hey golicowcy,

in multiway pots it's best to just give up a hand, you will very often be way behind and thus lose money by investing further even if you get great odds.

Even with 9 to 1 odds you fold that flop? Maybe this is a leak of mine but I call flop, then I find an easy call river since we have the nuts now. I think 55 or 66 as well as 88+ would have bet out turn so we now have the nut two-pair with our A high.

      Let me explain myself...

I don't think calling this flop is a leak, the problem I see is it's 4-way pot and someone could have hit this flop well and we'd be drawing dead against him, another thing is we have no reads or stats on the opponents, meaning someone could go for a check/raise on the flop which means we have to fold and lose money. Furthermore someone could easily have A2, A4 or A7 against which we have reversed implieds. Therefore I see this as marginal spot, while on NL25 one should play straight forward poker, so that's why I prefer to fold.

About river, I think you outlevel your opponents by few levels with your thoughts although they're correct if opponents are thinking players, but that's not necessary. Imo, in 4-way pot you will quite often see a 4x or 7x on this river after a minraise and reraise and even 88+ wouldn't surprise me.
