I basically have no clue here, he raises only 13%-ish so can I expect a 9x or 44 here? Furthermore I don't think he will raise 88-JJ here so I mucked to prevent myself from taking a hard Turn/River decision on the River

How would you play it Kaitz?

Unfortunately Kaitz is busy getting drunk somewhere in Scandinavia right now, but i'm pretty sure he'd bet/3bet that out of position on a paired board against that guy.

In fact, so would I. He is playing really erratically overall, going to showdown way too much and doing his fair share of raising too along the way. We won't give him 44 ever, 4x maybe but i wouldn't worry too much about it. 99 is definitely a possibility, i don't think he'd raise another 9x but he might do it with TT-JJ, maybe a flushdraw but i doubt it. KK+ maybe but given his 3bet% he'd likely repop you preflop so we're not really worried about that either. There are more combos of hands we beat than of hands that beat us, there is already money in the pot, we have an overpair, and the board can only get uglier for us (overcards, flush cards, cooler cards for our opponent's hand..).

      Hope it helps.
