      Great job Willfox!

A gain of $75 after passing the $100 bonus is a great achievement.

Also i really like your effort here in the boards.
This will help you a lot.

      Best regards,
      Stefan

Keep on that good work, hopefully the new update will arrive soon ;)

Congratulations Willfox! I'm still way off the 5000 raked hands, and I'll keep you in mind as an example.

      Don't worry Classical.

      Willfox result is not typical.

My best friend who started about a year ago had $30 left when he cleared the $100 bonus, so actually lost $20 ... and now he is playing $30/$60 :D

Playing break even or loosing money at the beginning or even winning money has nothing to do with your actual skill...

The most interesting part for poker players comes when they lost their starting motivation and they already achieved some knowledge but are missing the energy to put more effort into learning and practice

wow nice1!!! whats your new target? beating a specific limit or reaching 500, 1k$?

for me I rememberit was reaching at first 200$ and spent a round of pizza ;)
After that I went to 1000$ meanwhile reaching 2/4$ FR and moving to SH... there my target was 2/4$ after that 5/10$ (which I made since last month) and now I go for establishing myself up there (pretty hard :/)

well i already beat the 100NL games in the past so my next goal would be to beat 200NL on the long run ;)

Cashed out most of my bankroll cuz laptop was broken and the neteller rumors started kicking in :p

So i decided to try and build a bankroll from scratch again =)

Cashed it out again though, to go to pokerstars since they have 6max 10NL tables, sorry guys :p

Hello pokerstragy! I just passed the 5000 raked hands challenge myself. But I lost 25$ to reach it ><. Should I move up my limits anyway? Or should I play a little longer in the micro limits?
Thank you for this chance to play real poker!!

Stick to the limit you are comfertable with bakamor.

Myself started Nov, 2006 and im now playing 0.5$/1$ Shorthanded and im now at $600. My goal is to get as high as possible =) . 3/6 is something thas has to be possible for me. But my dream would be 5/10...and maybe even higher. We will see what the future has in store for me =)

The $100 are part of your bankroll so best stick to the BRM (Bankroll Management) but also like wilm said play the limits you feel comfortable at.

It is very dangerous for poker when you are playing with scared money. It shouldnt be a big deal for you when you loose a big pot. That is very important.

      Best regards,
      Stefan

Well, finally passed the 5,000 raked hands mark today. Took me almost two and a half months and $30... Good news is that I've been making a plus the last 2k hands or so on 0,05/0,10.

I will now play on 0,10/0,20, and move up once I've won 100BB and am feeling comfortable. This will probably take me a few Months since I can only play about 500 hands/week (family, job, plus quality of play declines when playing more than 2 tables...) But now that I've made the deadline for the bonus I am not in hurry, and am looking forward at further play, study and progress!

Thanks to ps for this great route to a very nice hobby!

That's pretty awesome, considering the 10% rake. Good luck to you too.
